In 2017 ARK AID has sent about $ 18,000 (after an ARK AID gift matching project) for the poor and suffering of South Sudan which has been distributed by our contact by MedAir by way of the Sudanese Reformed Churches. In 2016 ARK AID has accepted donations to be matched by ARK AID for the benefit of the victims of war and famine in South Sudan (see report below). Distribution goes by way of a specialist in the field who has been heading projects for MEDAIR in Sudan and South Sudan for many years. No amount of monies donated for this project are diminished due to overhead costs of intermediary charities.
